NEXT DIMENSION PHOTOGRAPHY
Recently Land Incorpuration went on a journey to interview on of covenant university fastest growing photographers. They call themselves Next Dimension and in the course of the interview we got to know more but them and also got some of there works for our blog.
We interviewed one of the C.E.O of Next Dimension
SOME QUESTIONS FROM THE INTERVIEW:
Land Incorpuration: What is your name?
Next Dimension Person: Onyema Oluebube George, but i like to be called "Ebube"
Land Incorpuration: What is your occupation / school?
Ebube: I am an undergraduate in Covenant university,but right now my occupation is photography.....yeah!!!!, i am a photographer...upcoming 101
Land Incorpuration: What are you studying?
Ebube: I am studying chemical engineering
Land Incorpuration: Why chemical engineering?
Ebube: Well, first and foremost, I love science and chemica, technology etc. So, i am a science freak. Kinda (101) so chemical engineering wasn't a surprise to me or anyone, and yeah, i also have this vision and dream that chemical engineering can change Nigeria
Land Incorpuration: Tell us about "Next Dimension"?
Ebube: Well "Next Dimension" is a photography born out of innovative minds. It is a photography where everything, every picture is taken on a whole new level, It is a photography that is fired on seeing just plain pictures, Plain photography and want to bring in the young mind into photography, To bring in the crazy concepts and turn photography into something exciting, fun and also full of life.
Land Incorpuration: What does the name "Next Dimension" mean?
Ebube: Well "Next Dimension" was actually created by ADENUGA BOLAJI, who is the CO-C.E.O of "Next Dimension". He felt photography should leave the level it is in, and move to a new level, a new dimension, a totally different world, so the name "Next Dimension" was not a coincidence, It was well thought about.
Land Incorpuration: How did it come about?
Ebube: Well, It came about when we saw photography in the state it was, and thought photography deserves better and we decided to join the young creative photographers and change photography.
Land Incorpuration: Who is/ are the founder(s)?
Ebube: Well, the founders are myself (Onyema Oluebube George) and Adenuga Bolaji, who is also a photographer.
Land Incorpuration: How many are you guys in your team?
Ebube: We are trying to expand our base right here in Covenant University, we are about four, and we are still adding. We also have people from Unilag also working for us yeah!, about two of them, so we have three(3) photographers in total, Two(2) in Covenant University and one(1) in Unilag. Others comprises of Editors, Information, Concept Managers.
Land Incorpuration: How does Chemical Engineering and Photography come in hand?
Ebube: Well, They are not closely related because one is science and the other is art but i am still trying to figure it out but i will come up with something.
Land Incorpuration: Which is the passion Chemical Engineering or Photography?
Ebube: Well, I would say right now, more of photography and less of Chemical Engineering
Land Incorpuration: As a young and up coming photographer, what are your challenges?
Ebube: There are a lot of challenges of which, i am not aware of. but i feel every Photographer should have challenges according to the level obtain. my challenges have been mostly getting equipments, getting people for my crew, looking for people who would promote me and all that, so for me, I have a lot of work to do
Land Incorpuration: What role has Covenant University played in the aspect of Photography?
Ebube: Covenant University has played a big part in Photography, it has promoted Photographers that have come up over time. It has produced people like "LEXASH, XLT, NEPETUS PHOTOGRAPHY, CYPRUS, NEBROO PHOTOGRAPHY" and people like that, so they have been very encouraging.
Land Incorpuration: Since you have started, what is/ are your biggest achievements?
Ebube: My biggest achievements has actually been the recent matriculation ceremony that took place in Covenant University. I haven't been too busy in the industry, so that is actually my biggest
Land Incorpuration: Do you have any role model?
Ebube: My role model(s) are Wani Olatunde, TAP, August Udoh and most importantly JESUS CHRIST.
Land Incorpuration: What do you have to tell students like yourself out there?
Ebube: I believe that you should follow your dreams till the end as long you have the passion; The drive, the focus and all it needs to take you higher.
